Would Quality Inspection give a headache?
There are always some reasons for quality failures. Generally speaking, these reasons would be such:
- Parts missing in the assembly
- Scratches or poor workmanship
- Mistakes on the subparts, for example material or color
- Packaging marking not according to regulation
We all know quality is important. But the quality standard means differently between seller and buyer. When you asked no scratch, the workers think minor scratches OK and threw into the boxes-oops...second damage.
My customers told me they have provided Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) to the factories. They also told the factories to fill the documentation of PPAP, FEMA etc. with each shipment. They did’t obtain the expected results.
The tools are good. You’ve got to find people to use these correctly. That is the key for the quality inspection. Let us do this head aching working for you.
