Humanity Is A Control Freak And We Are All Paying The Price

Twice a day I am on the train with people I do not know. Very defined time box of 30 minutes, completely sealed from the rest of my life by the gates of two trains stations. My challenge is to think of an idea, take a picture, write the headline and text, design the cover and publish an interesting post… while I am on the train.

You know me, everything must be branded, so “THE-DAILY-TRAINER” is born.

Many of us are using public transportation, and then meeting privet car users, the question is no longer if we will get infected by the Coronavirus, it is about when we will get infected, and how severe it will be.

Just like the hysterical behavior before the year 2,000, predicting "The End Of The World" that will come due to bug 2000, The same is here. The world is spiraling down by pure fear, destroying the global economy due to a virus, as dangerous as the flu. No politician is willing to stand and stop this dangerous flat spin. The reason for the spin is that we still don't have a Coronavirus vaccine, so we are not in control, and humanity is a control freak. But we will have one in less than a year time.

Two years from now, there will be a course at Harvard University under the topic: "The Corona Effect and Social-Psychology-Economy based on fear."

What is Next?

1. In less than a year, we will have a vaccine for the Corona Virus.
2. Many people will decide not to take it, as the disease symptoms are minor for most of us.
3. We will look back on today's Corona hysteric like we are looking today on the bug 2000 hysteric.

I wonder if the Corona effect would have been so un-proportional without the social networks?

We are programmed to pay attention to people first. Customers, Clients, Providers, Employes, Mangers, Bosses, Shareholders, Spouse, all and many more are synonyms for people: regular men and women like you and me.

At work ? Are you distracted by the titles, or do you communicate directly with the people around you? ? Are you self confident, or do you use a "big job title" as a shield?

? 238: Morning. March, 3rd. 2020:

This man is choosing to be blind to his surroundings, there is no other explanation for why he wears those socks.

On the other hand, he is very innovative. On this sunny day, he found a perfect way to protect himself from the sun and shade his smartphone, so he can focus on what important for him.

At work, can you isolate yourself and focus on what is important for you? Will you take the risk to be considered weird or funny by others?

In the movie "The Matrix," Agent Smith is standing with Neo on the subway tracks and saying: "You hear that Mr. Anderson?... That is the sound of inevitability... It is the sound of your death... Goodbye, Mr. Anderson..." Next thing, Neo survives the oncoming train and making his way to "The Matrix Reloaded," "The Matrix Revolutions" and "The Matrix 4".

The Corona is here. It is a fact. Let's get back on the platform and go on with our life.

At work and in your project: Are you getting hysterical and paralyzed by the stories about the inevitable dangers ahead. Or do you understand that they are "inevitable by their name," and all you can do is to be ready to deal with them when they come your way?

Note: I am no saying the Corona is not dangerous. I think we are a little overreacting and tend to be hysterical. Let's face it; The Corona is not math. Eventually, we will all get it.
