Shoe-Tech
After Eliud Kipchoge’s success on the 1:59:40 Marathon Challenge this morning, I became inquisitive about the type of shoes he wore during the marathon. We have been discussing FIN-TECH, INSUR-TECH, etc. Now here comes SHOE-TECH!
The Shoe (Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next%) that Eluid Kipchoge wore today best describes a high-tech shoe i.e. it is considerably a successful shoe release, as attested by both running professionals and casual runners.
The new features presented by Nike in this shoe has impressed the majority, thus making Nike claim that the shoe is a huge upgrade from the earlier version of the ZoomX Vaporfly Next%.
The shoes' performance has also allowed some users to say it is a must-have for running. Therefore, with very little critic coming from buyers, it is safe to say that the ZoomX Vaporfly Next% is worth the purchase despite its hefty price tag.
Below are components of High-Tech shoes:
- High-tech shoes clear your path to a record-breaking speed with a lighter designer and faster feel than before.
- High-tech shoes have more cushioning underfoot and reduced weight up top; the result is unprecedented energy return and comfort.
- They are insanely strong and crazily lightweight.
- High-tech shoes are water-resistant, so even if you go ahead and pour water over your head; these shoes won’t soak it all up. Even when it rains, they don’t soak.
- The midsole of a high-tech shoe is made for speed. This shoe is so fast. The midsole contains 15% more form.
- High-tech shoes are composed of ZOOMX Foam. This foam absorbs the energy a runner applies when their feet meet pavement and returns a portion of it to their stride.
- They contain a Carbon Fibre plate. This plate improves runner’s ankle mechanics by stabilizing the joint and reducing the load on the calves.
- High tech shoes have a Built-in secret weapon that guarantee energy return. This is what makes these shoes so groundbreaking because they are sandwiched between most responsive lightweight carbon fibre plates. These two elements work in tandem to deliver a propulsive sensation, for speed with every stride.
Conclusion
There’s a reason why some of the world’s most elite runners race in high-tech shoes i.e. these shoes are the fastest because of key innovations that include ZoomX foam and an innovative carbon-fibre plate. Nike’s ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% is designed to get runners to the finish line first and fast.
