The Faith Stories
MAKE 2020 A HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR YOUR WHOLE FAMILY
The Faith Stories?project has been developed by my good friends at Adult Lutherans Organized for Action (ALOA)[1] to help older adults record a video testimony of their faith and life story. This resource partners older adults with young people to produce their video Faith Story?. I asked ALOA for permission to share their project with my readers.
Check out this sample of what a Faith Stories? video can be.
DIRECTION IS RIGHT HERE
on their Faith Stories? website. All you need for one person to work with a young person on their own faith story or in a more elaborate context, a congregation-wide project for interested older adults.[2]
A “HOW TO” GUIDE FOR FAITH STORIES? includes:
1. Overview
2. Basic Steps
4. Faith Stories? Ideas for those Closest to Heaven
6. Faith Stories? Nuts & Bolts
7. Storytelling Basics – Organizing the Multitude of Memories
8. A Pastor’s Perspective on Faith Stories?
When you visit the FAITH STORIES? website you will find the helps and information you need to do your own Faith Story. You can even make FAITH STORIES? a church-wide project.
Tell your friends about FAITH STORIES?. And while you’re at it, why not encourage them to subscribe to PERSPECTIVE the blog[3]? Another great idea. What an exciting idea for the New Year 2020 and you heard about it here!
May 2020 be a blessed and happy year for you.
