Five Quotes To Motivate You in Business

Quotes are some of my favorite ways to reenergize, refocus, and find new vigor in the task ahead. Here are five great ones to remember.

Learn from the past, set vivid, detailed goals for the future, and live in the only moment of time over which you have any control: now. -- Denis Waitley

Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible. -- Dalai Lama

Always continue the climb. It is possible for you to do whatever you choose, if you first get to know who you are and are willing to work with a power that is greater than ourselves to do it.
-- Ella Wheeler Wilcox

I don't believe you have to be better than everybody else. I believe you have to be better than you ever thought you could be. -- Ken Venturi

Expect problems and eat them for breakfast. -- Alfred A. Montapert

Congrats Claire - what a coup! "Brought the Vatcican to social media and managed the pope's debut on twitter" is a pretty darned awesome addition to your resume (I mean LinkedIn profile :)

Oh please... and just after Twitter is starting to jerk in its sick-throes as it moves, and shows every sign of going down like a flaming Crackberry. (Their stock price just dropped another $200 in 1 day) IT'S A PURE-DEE IRRITATION THAT ACTUALLY DESIGN--BARS ANY WORTHWHILE CONTENT! Betcha that within 4 years: "Huh? "a "Twitter"-thing? TWEET? GIMME A BREAK!" - from teen early adopter, too. And oh yeah, staying in grad school is worth any amount of BN'ing the boss. And with "distance cheating" getting accredited now, a REAL postgrad degree will become TRULY valuable. That's why my house is paid off, and can now afford to query you rather than sweat blood at 10 PM on a Friday night, like I used to do. With a doctorate.

It's a great idea to reflect on what you've learned so you can apply it in the future! #5 is an important point too that many of us easily forget because of society's fast pace. However, no excuses, we need to set our own pace to be successful=)
