JFCS’ YouthFirst offers innovative programs for teens and pre-teens interested in Jewish service learning and leadership skills. YouthFirst helps teens develop the necessary life skills to move into young adulthood smoothly, successfully, and responsibly. Through engaging opportunities and dedicated support from JFCS staff, hundreds of Bay Area teens have taken their first steps toward meaningful careers. Engage with Community, Explore Identity, Initiate Change The Community Impact Year Course is for teens and pre-teens who want to tackle real-world problems together. Participants become deeply involved with projects of their own choice over the course of a school year. Additionally, summer programs include paid Summer Internships at JFCS or partnering organizations, and a summer day camp called, Summer Impact, in Marin County.
