The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship is the leading production motorcycle racing series in the world, with more than half a million trackside spectators every year. The two race format and the exhilarating Tissot-Superpole qualifying sessions provide a challenge for both the riders and Manufacturers and puts on a scintillatingly entertaining show for all the fans in the grandstands and for the millions watching at home. WorldSBK is broadcast to a large and ever-increasing international television audience, in 180 countries across the globe. Motorcycles homologated for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship are based on production models available for sale – and with over 100 riders representing more than 20 countries regularly competing in the various classes, WorldSBK is truly a global sport.

    WorldSBK is pleased to welcome Mizuno as its new Official Footwear Partner starting from 2025 ???? Mizuno Corporation, a globally renowned Japanese company founded in Osaka in 1906 by Rihachi Mizuno, specialises in sportswear and is a world leader in performance footwear. This new exclusive partnership will see Mizuno supply footwear for the Dorna WorldSBK Organization (DWO) staff as part of their official uniform.     WorldSBK extends partnership with Sportian, Globant’s Sports Division ?? Long-standing partnership enabled by LALIGA, co-founder of Sportian, aims to remove up to 99% piracy across digital platforms and will investigate the incorporation of AI-powered technologies to maintain these standards. WorldSBK has extended its long-term partnership with Sportian, the sports division of Globant. As the collective fightback against sports piracy continues, the partnership has achieved breakthrough results in removing illegal content. Since beginning their anti-piracy partnership with LALIGA, co-founder of Sportian, over five years ago, WorldSBK and MotoGP have been successful in tracking and removing illegal broadcasts across social media, apps, video-on-demand (VOD) services, search engines, and illegal streaming sites. The technology services, now operated by Sportian’s Piracy Guard, have set a new benchmark for sports anti-piracy. Going forward, the partnership intends to explore the integration of AI and machine learning technologies to support the detection and categorization of pirated content, to aid the continual fight against audiovisual theft. Piracy Guard provides WorldSBK with reactive removal of illegal content and proactive monitoring for emerging threats. Over the next year, Sportian will continue to fine-tune these services to adapt to emerging threats, providing proactive security assessments to detect and shut down new vulnerabilities that may emerge across the broadcast landscape, and leveraging automation and predictive analytics to adapt to evolving piracy tactics. WorldSBK organiser and rights holder Dorna excels not only in the organisation the and promotion of motorcycle racing but also in its commitment in the fight against piracy. This long-term partnership between Dorna, rights holder of MotoGP and WorldSBK, and Globant Sportian is a reference in the market, driving investment in innovations to fight the piracy of live sporting events such as Sportian’s Piracy Guard. Piracy Guard, a combination of powerful detection tools and expert analyst oversight, ensures that unauthorized streams are identified in real time and swiftly removed. Created from the in-house piracy team of LALIGA, Piracy Guard holds working partnerships with more than 70 of the world’s largest online platforms and Google TCRP certification, the solution routinely achieves a removal rate of over 90%, while gathering insights and intelligence to support subsequent legal actions and dynamic blocking orders.

    As CREMONA CIRCUIT S.R.L. prepares to welcome WorldSBK again on 2-4 May 2025, a press conference held in Milan last week saw local authorities and riders share their expectations ahead of the second edition of the Acerbis Italian Round. The event was honoured by distinguished guests, including Matteo Salvini, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport; Claudia Maria Terzi, Regional Councillor for Infrastructure; Deborah Dell'Acqua, representing Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè; and Alessandro Canevarolo, CEO of Cremona Circuit, who emphasised the importance of this round for the territory and its growing motorsport heritage. Riders Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team) and Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) joined team principals Marco Barnabò and Niccolò Canepa to share their excitement. Petrucci, who famously won all three races at last year's inaugural Cremona event, said: "It’s emotional to return to Cremona after scoring a hat-trick at our home race. Repeating that result won't be easy, but the goal remains the same: get on the podium and fight for victory."     Bringing the next generation into the heart of #WorldSBK! The?WorldSBK Paddock?was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed students from?Leongatha Primary School and Powlett River Primary?for a special?local communities engagement experience at the?Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. Their journey started on the?Paddock Show stage, where selected?Junior Reporters?got the incredible opportunity to interview?WorldSBK rider Remy Gardner?and?WorldWCR rider Tayla Relph—a truly unforgettable moment! From there, the students explored the?behind-the-scenes world of WorldSBK, gaining insight into the dedication and teamwork that make the championship possible. To top it off, they enjoyed a?Pit Walk experience, where they got up close with the bikes and received a warm welcome from the teams. Engaging with local communities is at the heart of what we do, and seeing the enthusiasm of these young fans was a fantastic reminder of the power of motorsport to?inspire future generations. ?????

    Subaru joins WorldSBK as Official Safety Car from 2025 WorldSBK is proud to announce a new partnership with Subaru, marking the start of an unprecedented collaboration that will see the all-electric Subaru Solterra take centre stage as the Official Safety Car of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship from 2025. Under a three-year agreement from 2025 to 2027, four Subaru Solterra vehicles – the brand’s first all-electric SUVs – will play a crucial role at every WorldSBK round. Combining cutting-edge technology with Subaru’s signature performance and reliability, these vehicles are ready to deliver on one of the biggest motorsport stage. The partnership between Subaru and WorldSBK reflects their shared commitment to performance, innovation, and creating thrilling experiences as the introduction of the Solterra as the Official Safety Car highlights the brand core values: being Safe, Fun and Tough. Subaru's presence will go beyond track duties. At every WorldSBK round, a dedicated hospitality unit will showcase the Solterra, allowing WorldSBK media and fans to explore Subaru's latest innovations and take part in exclusive hot laps, test drives and other fun brand discovering activities. This immersive experience brings Subaru’s forward-thinking ethos straight to the most fan-focussed paddock. Subaru Europe also confirmed plans to use WorldSBK as one of their key platforms to launch and unveil brand new electric models over the next three years.
