What started as the legendary birthplace of the first personal computer and home to IBM today serves as the stomping grounds for a new generation of technology, life sciences, and service companies that are aiming for leadership and disruption in their respective fields. Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC), acquired by CP Group in 2018 is a state-of-the-art, accessible 1.7 million square foot office park located in the heart of Boca Raton. BRiC was initially developed by IBM as its North American Research and Development facility. Since world-renowned architect Marcel Breuer designed the IBM facility in the late 1960s, this unique office campus has been synonymous with the spirit of revolutionary design and creativity.

Only the College of Communication and Design at Lynn University could host an opening exhibit that showcases the best in digital artwork from the 1970s to today's generative AI, while also featuring one of Florida's largest skateboard deck design exhibitions ever, "All Hands On Deck," with skateboarding legend Brandon Novak and professional skateboarder Fabiana Delfina as our judges. We featured over 140 skateboard decks and counting. With over 275-300 attendees—including local high school students and parents from schools like Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation, Spanish River High School, Boca Christian, Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, St. Brendan High School and Imater Preparatory Academy High School—the night was electric. A special thanks to all of faculty and students who not only made this happen but created incredible works of art together. In honor of the City of Boca Raton's Centennial, the city is inviting residents to celebrate with poetry! ???? O, Miami is partnering with Boca for a special year-long campaign to capture residents’ love for their neighborhoods through an Ode to Boca, or a short poem based on their zip code. These poems also known as Zip Odes contain a number of words corresponding to a zip code and are an O, Miami invention in partnership with WLRN Public Media. Zip Odes are a part of our Civic Publishing efforts, where residents shape the narratives of their own city. Lasting throughout the year, O, Miami and the City of Boca Raton will collect these Odes to Boca at events, school workshops, and community gatherings. Next year, the city will showcase 100 selected poems in unexpected places throughout the city as public art.
