Kindred (One River Run) is Keystone’s first major development in 20 years, and it completes the River Run base area with a mixed-use expansion and a design that is distinctly Coloradan. OZ architects incorporated sustainably-minded elements into the design of the hotel, which is pursuing Green Globes Certification and has a predicted 30% energy use savings over the average hotel property. The developers of Bakers Place are bringing more #masstimberconstruction to Madison, WI with a four-story multi-family project that offers 30 modern downtown apartments. The location provides convenient access to the Capitol, major offices, and universities, while the building features a variety of unit types, including studios and 3-bedrooms, making it ideal for students and professionals. The construction implements a sustainable building system with #masstimber decks, bathroom pods, and other components manufactured off-site. This approach allows for condensing the construction timeline. The project is designed according to Passive House guidelines and will seek certification from the International Living Futures Institute (ILFI). We look forward to watching this project evolve! The innovative Hoover Elementary School project in Palo Alto, CA, will replace an entire campus using prefabricated TimberQuest? construction. The new campus includes four buildings: a kindergarten classroom, a library and administration building, a main classroom building, and a multi-purpose building. The project will realize the benefits of #masstimberconstruction, including speed and sustainability, along with increased flexibility with TimberQuest's adaptable design that allows for future modifications. A new multi-building office complex in Southern California showcases innovative #masstimberconstruction. The project combines mass timber with steel and concrete, reducing weight and carbon footprint by 50%. Exposed glulam and #CLT elements create a warm, modern interior. Outdoor terraces, walkways, and a central courtyard enhance the workspace. The project was a pioneer in LA, securing approval for mass timber use through LADBS. Back-to-school time is here! WIN Project Highlight: ★ Rogue Primary School in Central Point, OR. ★ This project is unique in its focus on natural elements, play, and student choice. These concepts guided the design process from start to finish. The building uses natural materials, abundant daylight, and earthy colors, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The project's innovative design allows for future growth. The second floor, currently an open play area, can easily be converted into additional classrooms. This flexibility will help double the school's enrollment capacity in the future.
