Kick-off for Women’s Month at Women4Metals ?? We’re celebrating throughout March and raising awareness for our mission. Our first event for the external part of the initiative took place in Hamburg with Women of Stonex and Women4Metals hosted by our great supporter StoneX Group Inc. - a very big thank you for making it happen! ?? And even if it’s at the moment more about “the pocket” than the heart, they remain crucial - especially in a world that will look different in 2025. Gisteren organiseerden we ons allereerste Women4Metals (W4M) Empowering You Event bij Aurubis Olen! ?? W4M is een initiatief van Aurubis dat zich inzet om vrouwen in de metaalindustrie te empoweren en hun zichtbaarheid te vergroten. Samen willen we vrouwen inspireren! ?? Tijdens ervaringstafels brainstormden we samen over hoe we hen nog beter kunnen ondersteunen en kansen kunnen cre?ren. Special guest Nina Mouton gaf ons waardevolle inzichten over zelfzorg, zowel thuis als op het werk ?? Enkele gelukkige collega’s gingen naar huis met een gesigneerd exemplaar van haar boek! We sloten de voormiddag samen af met een lunch, toffe W4M gadgets en unieke W4M desserts ?? ?? Yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to actively take part in the very first Women4Metals “Empowering event” at Aurubis Beerse, hosted by the wonderful moderator Valerie Peeraer! ?? It was such a great opportunity to not only see the faces of the women that are part of the crucial corner stones in both this industry as in our facility, but also to get the unique opportunity to meet the individuals behind those faces and watch them thrive in what they do best. Being a witness of this fantastic moment, I’m glad and grateful that I participated and supported this event, which I will actively continue to do in the future. ???? The experience tables were a great way of facing challenges together and thinking outside of the box for the best solutions while getting to know each others strenghts and personalities. ???? I hereby want to thank Aurubis Beerse for making this event possible as well for Nina Mouton for the amazing keynote and insights regarding self care and mild parenting. ???? #SelfCare #MentalHealth I would also like to thank Valerie Peeraer for being the best moderator we could ever wish for and Lisa Wens for the magnificent pictures! ???? Dr. Anna-Maria Karl, LL.M. lie? uns tief in die Zukunftskompetenzen eintauchen, die jetzt schon den Unterschied machen. Mut und Gelassenheit, a bissl was geht immer. Henrike Luszick rief uns mit voller Energie zu mehr Mut und Authentizit?t auf – starke Frauen sind der Schlüssel für die Zukunft unseres Landes! Anne-Marie Gro?mann brachte uns auf den Punkt, warum es so wichtig ist, Frauen in der Stahlindustrie zu f?rdern – und dass eine Karriere dort auch ohne ?Schnauzer“ m?glich ist und zwar sehr gut! Und dann war da noch Livia von Mitschke-Collande mit unserem Lieblingszitat: “You can’t be what you can’t see.” Ein echtes Mantra für uns alle sowie die Aufforderung sich aktiv ein Supporter & Mentor-Netzwerk aufzubauen. Das spannende Panel mit Heike Wemhoff Lisa Charlotte Robben Dr. Anna-Maria Karl, LL.M., moderiert von Michael Wieland und die Workshops zu unseren Fokusfeldern haben uns nicht nur inspiriert, sondern uns aktiv dazu angeregt, gemeinsam an der Zukunft unserer Branche zu gestalten. She has spent the last few years in an international trading company as a managing partner. Since 2022, she has also been devoting herself to the start-up and business angel scene as co-managing director of the encourageventures network, which aims to bring more diversity to the start-up and business angel landscape. ?? She holds a doctorate in law, has studied law in Germany and abroad and is a member of several academic institutions.
