The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) South Africa Film Festival was such an incredible experience! The event really highlighted how important it is to raise awareness and take action in the fight against fraud. We’re so proud that our Women in AI Southern Africa Ambassador, Naledi Tlhakudi , represented us on the panel and brought such valuable insights to the discussion. We also had the chance to talk about Coded Bias —an incredible movie that we recommend everyone watches. It really drives home the importance of representation in data, testing, and development to ensure AI systems are fair and inclusive. ??? It was such an honor to share the panel with Reneil Harilall and Dimitrios Savva from Intelligent Diamond, Rianne Potgieter, CA(SA), CProf(SA) from CISA, Prischal Bahgoo from VicIT, and Carl Wocke from Merlynn AI. Each of them brought valuable perspectives to the conversation, making it such a dynamic and impactful discussion. Collaboration like this is so important as we work together to explore how AI and technology can help combat fraud. Our final Women in AI Southern Africa event of 2024 was a huge success, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who joined us ????A big thank you to Kaluba Chikonde for leading such an inspiring and engaging workshop. Kaluba Chikonde brought incredible energy and passion to the session, guiding us through the powerful capabilities of Gen AI and ChatGPT. We learned so much on how to maximize our AI experiences, and the practical tools like the TACTIC framework that we can apply directly in our work and studies. ? We believe everyone walked away from this workshop with valuable skills they can immediately put into practice ?? ?? I had an incredible time at the Women in AI Southern Africa Prompt Engineering Workshop, focused on the use of Gen AI's ChatGPT. The session was led by the amazing Kaluba Chikonde, who brought so much energy and encouragement to the workshop. Her insightful examples and hands-on approach made concepts like the TACTIC framework come to life. Thanks to Kaluba for being an inspiring leader in this booming field! I walked away with practical skills to improve my work with AI prompts and a renewed sense of excitement about the future of AI.
