In an unexpected journey into #consulting, Laura Juliano, Managing Director and Senior Partner, began her first steps of a now 20-year career at BCG through a recruiting event she attended in college. Passionate about understanding how things work, she found her calling in #operations, helping businesses become more efficient and resilient. Laura now leads BCG’s North America Operations practice, where she guides teams through economic uncertainty with confidence and collaboration. When life brought her to Houston, Laura embraced giving back, becoming deeply involved with the Houston Food Bank, drawn to its mission and fascinated by the challenge of feeding nearly a million people with a mostly #volunteer workforce. After Hurricane Harvey, she and her BCG colleagues helped rebuild and strengthen its operations—work so meaningful she later joined and chaired the board. Beyond her career, she champions inclusion, co-founding OPS NOW to support women in operations. At home, she fosters curiosity and problem-solving with her three daughters through DIY projects, softball games, and volunteer work. Her journey is a testament to passion, perseverance, and lifting others up along the way. Read her full story here: https://on.bcg.com/4hugw6b
