MICROGRID!!! Wunderlich-Malec employees traveled to a customer's facility to complete Phase I commissioning of WM's Microgrid Master Controller at this site. The Master Controller interfaces with and controls the elements in this Microgrid. In Phase I, the controller interfaces with L2 and L3 EV chargers. In Phase II, the controller will interface with these EV chargers, a Solar PV Inverter, and a Battery Energy Storage System to perform source/load balancing in the Microgrid.
Wunderlich-Malec created this Microgrid Simulator for one of our customers in California! The Wunderlich-Malec (WM) Power System Operational and Control Simulator (PSOC Simulator) was developed to simulate a well-known switchgear vendor's PLC-based generator synchronizer and automatic power restoration control system commonly found at many facilities throughout the country. ?WM is an expert in the methods used in these systems and has developed the PSOC Simulator to give your facility’s operational team the ability to train system users on how the system operates during an outage, as well as how the system recovers when your utility power has been restored.?
