Wrapping up our 2-part Training seminar with the amazing team from?Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL). This time they made the trip to Maine so we could host them at our Fabrication Center - Home of our Substation-in-a-Box ? ? #WMETG is excited to share our most recently completed Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)! Successfully upgrading the protective relaying and HMI capabilities on a medium voltage switchgear lineup. ? Utilizing Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) SEL-751 relaying with enhanced graphical displays within the switchgear,?equipped with IEC-61850, Precision Time Protocol (PTP), and Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP), as well as SEL-5035 based HMI, our client can now intuitively monitor the statuses and metering values of each of the switchgear circuit breakers. Allowing for streamlined monitoring and control of the switchgear, ensuring higher efficiency and reliability. #wmetg ?kicked off 2024 in style with our 2nd Annual State of the Bunion and first Business Unit Ski outing. Mother Nature had other ideas when it came to ski conditions, but a brave few hit the slopes while others enjoyed the views and the pool. As for progress as a Business Unit we hit some true milestones in 2023!! What's on tap for this year? We are challenging our Engineers to take on Project Leadership roles allowing them a chance to learn about the Business side of the projects they all work hard on throughout the year. ?
