Just out: World Intellectual Property Indicators 2024 Latest data on intellectual property filing activity show that global patent applications reached a record high in 2023, surpassing 3.5 million for the first time. Trademark filing activity, while declining by 2%, showed a much smaller decrease compared to the previous year. Industrial design filing activity increased by 2.8%.
