Tia Shrikhande is a WIE Ambassador majoring in Computer Science. She is passionate about helping other women feel confident in the STEM field.

Liz Perez is a WIE Ambassador in the ARISE Engineering Undeclared program. She enjoys the opportunity to serve as a mentor figure for other students.

Saumya Agarwal is a WIE Ambassador majoring in Computer Science. She is passionate about giving prospective students the same support that she received from the Grainger community.

The 2024 Society of Women Engineers (SWE) annual conference, aimed at supporting and connecting women in engineering and technology, was a transformative three day event in Chicago, IL. This year’s event was attended by over 80 Grainger students, and many staff, faculty, and alumni. Students had the opportunity to participate in keynote speaker sessions, career fairs, networking events, and over 200 workshops and presentations.

Gabriela DeSantiago is a WIE Ambassador majoring in Agricultural and Biological Engineering. She enjoys the opportunity to reach out and support young women as they enter the STEM field.
