When my daughter first expressed her concerns about her own mental health, I knew I had to advocate fiercely for her, despite the fear and confusion that came with the process. From countless phone calls and emails to feeling dismissed and unheard, the journey has been exhausting. Yet, it has also ignited a fire within me to push for a more compassionate and effective system. A system where every parent and child is taken seriously, and where support is readily available without the need for endless battles. "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." – Albert Einstein Through this journey, I've learned the importance of resilience and the power of community. I've connected with other parents, advocacy groups, and professionals who share my vision for a better future. Together, we are stronger, and together, we can create the change we wish to see. I am committed to promoting empathy, inclusion, and support for neurodiversity. I believe in a world where every child's voice is heard and every parent's concerns are validated. This is not just my story; it's a call to action for all of us to rise up and make a difference.
