One of my favorite parts of my new role is coordinating the WashU presence at Missouri Historical Society Thursday Nights at the Museum.?It gives me a wonderful opportunity to think about WashU community connections to the Thursday Night topic. Last week, for a transportation-themed Thursday Night at the Museum, two Washington University McKelvey School of Engineering student organizations, WashU Rocketry and WashU Design Build Fly, shared their work designing and building a rocket and plane, respectively, to participate in national competitions this spring. With a rocket and plane on-site, engaging conversations, and videos and images to share, the students were busy throughout the evening.?With rigorous academic and team schedules, we appreciate the teams taking the time to share their work with the St. Louis Community. WashU Rocketry and WashU Design Build Fly, thank you and good luck with your spring competitions!!
