A sports team is responsible for winning both on and off the field. As the chair of the Washington Commanders Charitable Foundation, I was thrilled to bring a day of service to the community. Last Wednesday, I had the privilege of visiting, playing with and working alongside the young people in the DMV to showcase their value in building a better community. ? Commanders' Legends, our new Rookie class, President Jason Wright, and I spent the day encouraging and amplifying our youth through impactful and collaborative activities: running a skills and drills exercise for a high school football team, watching little ones enjoy a mini combine we unveiled and building a learning garden to support STEM education. ? Cheering on the future leaders of our community was an incredible experience filled with shared laughter and learning. The day reinforces the work we will continue to undertake to support the DMV. ?
