In response to the devastating wildfires in California, the Walgreens Foundation is collecting donations in our stores nationwide to help affected customers, patients and first responders. Donations can be made during checkout at any Walgreens or Duane Reade retail location starting today, Jan. 14 through Jan. 21.? Separately, Walgreens is donating products—water, hygiene/personal care, nonperishable food items, etc.—to local and community organizations, and we are aiding impacted team members through the Walgreen Benefit Fund.? ? For our patients, we have positioned resources and are actively deploying them as needed to minimize disruption to services and needs. For anyone unable to retrieve medications, our pharmacists may dispense emergency refills for most medications without prescriber authorization during a declared emergency. Use our store locator to find an open location nearby, and our pharmacy staff is available 24/7 through our Pharmacy Chat. We are also providing free same-day prescription delivery to patients in the Los Angeles area through Feb. 9. We thank all our customers for their generosity during this difficult time.
