Today is International Women’s Day. Palestinian women have a long history of standing up against Israeli settler colonialism in the pursuit of justice, freedom, and dignity for all Palestinians. Today, we honor Palestinian women, their strength, their resolve, and their contributions to Palestinian society. Use our visuals to highlight the gendered impact of Israeli violence, and to demand an end to decades of Israeli military occupation, apartheid, and systemic violence. https://lnkd.in/eKzQ7YvY

  • Our latest visual outlines how the K-12 education system in Palestine is deeply fragmented and subject to restriction and repression under Israeli settler colonialism and apartheid. Palestinian education systems have frequently come under attack, whether through direct Israeli military assaults on schools, Israeli censorship of curricula, defunding of schools, demolitions, overcrowded classrooms, or barriers to academic freedom and mobility. For Palestinians, education is not just a fundamental right but a powerful act of sumud (steadfastness)—a means of preserving and passing down knowledge, memory, identity, history, and culture from one generation to the next. In the face of ongoing Israeli forced displacement, ethnic cleansing, and attempts to erase Palestinian identity, education serves as a vital tool for continuity and resistance. For the first time in the history of the Academy Awards, a Palestinian film wins an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. “No Other Land” follows the life of Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist—and this film’s co-director— who has been resisting the forced displacement of his community by Israel's military and settlers in Masafer Yatta, in the West Bank, since he was a child. Amidst erasure of Palestinian narrative by mainstream sources, we extend our congratulations to Basel Adra for this much- deserved award. In his acceptance speech, Basel called “on the world to take serious actions to stop the injustice and to stop the ethnic cleansing of Palestinian people.”? Learn more about Masafer Yatta in our visual “In The Firing Zone," and see how Israel declared it a “military firing zone” to expand the construction of illegal settlements on Palestinian land. • In Gaza, the right to communicate is under siege. The Israeli genocide has resulted in catastrophic and deliberate destruction of its telecommunications infrastructure, leaving the area largely disconnected and isolated from the world. • In our latest visual, we bring attention to the ongoing violence the Israeli military and settlers have been inflicting on Palestinians in the West Bank over the past 16 months.? Israel’s targeting of Palestinians continues with impunity. Despite widespread international condemnation of Israeli human rights violations, Israel faces no accountability on the global stage. In fact, its allies, including the United States, actively sustain, fund, and uphold this immunity.

  • In October 2024, we released this visual that marked one year of genocide in Gaza, capturing the multifaceted nature of Israel’s genocide against Palestinians enduring unimaginable loss of homes, cities, agricultural land, schools, universities, and sites of cultural heritage. In 2024, the United States sent $17.9 billion to Israel, aiding and abetting this genocide in Gaza. While President Trump makes proclamations to forcibly displace Palestinians in Gaza, Palestinians continue to remain steadfast and refuse to be ethnically cleansed from their homeland. Use the visual to raise awareness and to demand that Israel, and governments complicit in genocide, are held accountable for their war crimes: https://lnkd.in/ePcmaVK6

  • 70% of Palestinians in Gaza are refugees from villages and towns that are within 30-40 kilometers of where Israel has been committing genocide over the past 16 months. They long to fulfill their right of return. Israel expelled them from their villages during the Nakba, the ethnic cleansing of Palestine in 1948. Our visual, “Original Villages of Gaza’s Refugees,” shows how Palestinians who were displaced to Gaza in 1948 continue to face ethnic cleansing today. Use the visual to raise awareness and to demand that Israel, and governments complicit in genocide, are held accountable for their war crimes. https://lnkd.in/eNHEEEwe

  • In the midst of growing repression faced by Palestinians and supporters of Palestinian freedom, the VP team has worked on two new visuals as part of our anti-Palestinian racism (APR) series. The first visual addresses anti-Palestinian racism in mainstream media, exposing the pervasive dehumanization of Palestinians. The second visual focuses on the repression of Palestinian students and students who express solidarity with Palestinians on college campuses. These visuals were created in partnership with the Arab Canadian Lawyers Association. Anti-Palestinian racism is one tool that reinforces a structure designed to weaken Palestinian resistance and narrative, and obscure global awareness of the Palestinian struggle for justice and liberation. Special thanks to G. Laster for the design of these visuals. Special thanks to the Arab Canadian Lawyers Association for its partnership on this visual, especially for creating a framework that names, and outlines the impact of anti-Palestinian racism. • As Palestinians in Gaza return to their homes during the ceasefire, many find nothing but complete wreckage. President Donald Trump echoes the same rhetoric Israeli leaders and officials have been using for the past 16 months, reinforcing the Zionist plan to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from their land. Yet Palestinians are not leaving. Instead, they are steadfastly pitching tents amidst the rubble, defying all colonial attempts to expel them.
