Last week, coaches from our newest cohort of schools, as well as those new to #VerizonInnovativeLearning Schools and mentor coaches from previous cohorts gathered in Miami for a week of learning and networking at our annual Coach Camp. The Cleveland Metropolitan School District offers paid internships for students to work alongside the district’s IT team. During these internships, students manage inventory and prepare devices for the upcoming school year, gaining invaluable job experience while keeping the district’s tech ecosystem running smoothly. Earlier this month, a few team members attended Digital Promise's League of Innovative Schools fall convening in Lindsay Unified School District. D'Andre Weaver, Ph.D, Ashley Campbell- Strategic and Visionary Leader, Camden Hanzlick-Burton, and Mallory Morris, Ed.D. presented about the #DigitalEquity Framework to a group of nearly 150 superintendents, leaders, partners, and colleagues.
