I was in Iowa on Tuesday to congratulate Des Moines University for achieving #LEED Silver certification on their new West Des Moines Campus. This campus clearly signifies the University’s commitment to the health, comfort, and well-being of its students, employees and guests, and sets new standards in educational facility design while contributing significantly to the region’s environmental sustainability efforts. #USGBCIA also held a program and tour in partnership with Ashrae Iowa Chapter to highlight this truly impressive, state-of -the-art facility.?Congratulations to all involved with this project! Last week our #USGBC U.S. Market Transformation & Development team descended upon KCMO for several days of skills training, solution creation, knowledge sharing, and personal connection building. It was an incredibly impactful gathering. What a joy to start this week knowing that we’re more prepared to tackle the work and mission ahead.
