?? BIG NEWS coming out of Philadelphia today! Congratulations to the City of Philadelphia for achieving PLATINUM in the #LEEDforCities rating system ?????? They are the 1st to reach Platinum in the updated v4.1 rating system AND the 1st Platinum by a local government in 2024. The team worked diligently to complete the certification process in advance of the Greenbuild International Conference & Expo. Philadelphia is a member of the 2024 LEED for Cities Certification Cohort, which includes 12 local governments from around the country. What a beautiful day for a tour! ?? On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to visit the incredible Expedia Group Seattle Campus for a tour hosted by the Seattle 2030 District. As always, I’m beyond impressed by Expedia Group's commitment to sustainability. From the landscape architecture to the innovative building design, it’s clear that sustainability is at the core of their operations. With on-site gardens and beehives, resident coyotes, and strong community interactions, the campus is a prime example of how urban spaces can harmonize with nature. The campus is Salmon-Safe Certified, LEED Gold certified, and SITES certified, showcasing their dedication to creating a positive environmental impact.
