We went from an empty 150 seat conference room to one energized and full of focus in supporting Women's Business Enterprise Center East (WBEC East) Certified business. The UPMC Supplier Diversity & Inclusion office, along with our partners in UPMC Construction and UPMC Health Plan, was excited to host the 2024 Doing Business in Western Pennsylvania. Appreciative of the new roster of corporations who have started their supplier diversity programs in the region, WBE’s were able to interact with supplier diversity program leaders including Vistra Corp., PPL Corporation, Duquesne Light Company, Allegheny County, Erie Insurance Group, UPMC, UPMC Health Plan, Giant Eagle, Inc., and others.
