In addition to offering degree programs that prepare students for jobs in high-demand fields, providing career opportunities, supporting area businesses, and growing the economy, the KU Edwards Campus provides a myriad of meeting spaces for educational and business entities in the community. Last week we welcomed Panasonic Energy to the campus as they hosted a five-day orientation program for new employees. Their soon-to-open 300-acre lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility in DeSoto is one of the largest economic development projects in Kansas’ history and it’s already making an impact in DeSoto and across the region. If you’re looking to host a meeting or event, KUEC offers a conference center, meeting rooms, and classrooms for groups ranging from four to 350. https://hubs.la/Q03dxyRW0
