Aviate, our industry-leading pilot career development program, is now 5 years old. ?? Currently, Aviate has more than 2,800 participants. Here are some amazing milestones Aviate achieved this year: ?? 4 new universities joined as Aviate partners ?? 4 new web features were added to Aviate’s website, including a Career Selector Tool and an eligibility chart ?? 122 campus recruitment events were hosted across the U.S. ?? 525 people attended State of Aviate, the annual conference to share program updates

We're adding eight new destinations in the largest international expansion of our history - including five new flights from our hub in New York/Newark (EWR), one new flight from Washington D.C./Dulles (IAD) and new direct flights from Tokyo-Narita (NRT). ?? Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (via NRT) ?? Kaohsiung, Taiwan (via NRT) ?? Nuuk, Greenland (via EWR) ?? Palermo, Italy (via EWR) ?? Bilbao, Spain (via EWR) ?? Madeira Island, Portugal (via EWR) ?? Faro, Portugal (via EWR) ?? Dakar, Senegal (via IAD) This is in addition to new or expanded service to existing destinations, such as Venice, Barcelona and Athens. United is the largest airline in the world, as measured by available seat miles, and flies to more international destinations than any other U.S. carrier. In total next summer, we'll offer 800 daily flights to and from 147 international destinations – including 40 that no other U.S. airlines serves.
