  • What if the success you’re waiting for is actually waiting on you? Too often, we hold back from making bold moves in business and life, waiting for some external validation before taking action. But what if alignment works in reverse? What if you take the step first, and the proof follows? Jummie Moses, host of Shifting Dimensions, faced this exact dilemma. After four years of building a podcast, she knew she was holding back from the topics that truly lit her up. There was fear -- fear of pivoting, fear of losing momentum, fear of whether this new direction would resonate. But she decided to bet on herself. #podcast #growthmindset #healthandwellness

  • Sometimes, one small act creates a ripple effect that transforms generations. In 2004, a tsunami devastated families. In Botswana amongst the destruction, S. P. "Wije" Wijegoonaratna met a mother who had lost everything -- her husband, her home, and almost all hope for her son's future. She told him: "My boy is bright, but we don't have any way to support him to go to school." Wije took her name and address down, found him, and supported his education. Six years later, he was sitting in an auditorium when a young man stood up and said: "You don't remember me, but you spoke to my mother six years ago. You helped me go to school, and now I'm in law school." Belief can create opportunity. Exposure can create expansion. When people are given the chance, they rise. And when one person rises, they bring others with them. #growthmindset #leadership #givingback Graham Skidmore

  • Sometimes, the only thing standing between you and the life you want is someone who believes in you. A young woman thought nursing school was her only option, until S. P. "Wije" Wijegoonaratna's daughter challenged her perspective. With the right guidance, she discovered a path to a top-tier pre-med program on a full scholarship. "She got to know her and said, 'No, why don't you apply to a premed program, and we'll figure out how to get a scholarship.' And she did the research ... and guided her and said, 'Okay, this is what we need to do,' and she got into a premed program at Holy Cross, which is a tier one, top tier university in the East Coast, and full ride." This is what happens when we expand our vision beyond what we’ve been taught is possible. Belief creates opportunity. Exposure creates expansion. Who in your life has helped you see bigger possibilities for yourself? How did it change your path? ?? • "Ancestors always said to look ahead seven generations to ensure that the land that you walk on, the air that you breathe, the water that you drink, is going to be sustainable for seven generations." - Jodi Branton Indigenous teachings emphasize sustainability—not just for the environment but for humanity itself. As we stand at a crossroads in history, we must ask ourselves: -- Are we honoring the wisdom that was lost? -- Are we protecting the land, water, and air for those who come after us? -- Are we ready to shift from short-term thinking to long-term stewardship? This isn’t just about climate action or policy—it’s about a fundamental shift in how we think about legacy. What’s one step we can take today to honor those who will come after us?

  • In today’s world, it’s easy to cling to what we already believe. But real growth happens when we allow opposing ideas to challenge our thinking -- not to dismantle it, but to refine and strengthen it. The ability to hold two different perspectives at once, without immediately rejecting one, is a crucial skill for leadership, decision-making, and personal growth. The question isn’t whether a new idea will change your mind, but whether your current beliefs are strong enough to withstand scrutiny. How often do you allow a differing opinion to challenge your thinking? #CriticalThinking #Leadership #PersonalGrowth

  • "What if the way you remember your past isn’t the full story?" That’s the realization Graham Skidmore had when he sat down with longtime friend and colleague Todd Matzkin-Bridger on Understanding the Science of You. For years, Graham has been his own toughest critic, focusing on what he could have done better and the leadership mistakes he made. But in this candid conversation, Todd helped him see something he hadn’t fully recognized before: the positive impact he had on those around him. This episode isn’t just a trip down memory lane—it’s a powerful reminder that self-perception doesn’t always align with reality. The conversation sheds light on the value of external perspectives and how they can help leaders see their journeys in a whole new way. If you’ve ever been too hard on yourself, this episode is worth a listen. Read the full article below and tune in for a fresh perspective on leadership, growth, and self-reflection. ?? • Parenting a child with autism has changed Tom Parsons’ perspective in profound ways. In this conversation with Graham Skidmore, Tom shared how raising his son, Dane, shaped his approach to empathy, leadership, and business. "It taught me to look beyond the surface and understand that real growth comes from seeing things from other people's perspectives," said Tom.
