ULI Dallas-Fort Worth held an engaging urban development training session at University of North Texas at Dallas for real estate professionals and students, centered around a fictitious Yorktown RFP. The focus was on creating a mixed-use, sustainable, walkable, and cross-generational community development. Four talented teams went head-to-head, competing for the best site plan and presentation, all while showcasing their ability to make the development profitable for both the City and developers, while also considering the needs of the community. I'm beyond proud to announce that yours truly, president and founder of #BlackWomenDevelopers was on the winning development team. Our presentation to the city council representatives truly highlighted our knowledge and commitment to building a vibrant urban community. Congratulations to my amazing team: ??Ray Tse??Terri Drummond ??Kennedy Miles and??Harry Lewis.
