We are excited to share that UITP India successfully conducted the training programme on 'Emerging Practices in Electric Bus Management and Sustainable Operations' with the support of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corp (Bmtc) on 6-7 March 2025 in Bengaluru. The energy was electric as participants from across the country gathered for thought-provoking sessions taken by international and domestic trainers. The training focussed on the following key areas: ?? Sustainable Planning and Operations Optimisation ??Financial Planning Strategy for E-Bus ??Charging and Battery Management for E-Buses ??Manpower Planning and Training ??Digitalisation and Data driven approaches in planning E-Buses. The highly interactive sessions, including a group activity gave the participants the perfect opportunity to brainstorm, network and together form solutions based on their learnings from the training programme to the problem statements given. The training programme concluded with a Technical Visit to the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corp (Bmtc) Central Office, followed by visit to its Depot-3. The aim of the Technical Visit was to provide the participants with hands-on experience of management of electric buses. Our heartfelt thanks to the incredible participants for their enthusiasm throughout the training programme.
