Back to New York after a great few day’s hosting TraderForum’s 2025 Annual Conference, which took place in the heart of North Carolina’s Research Triangle- with a fantastic turnout from our members! Hosted at the iconic Carolina Inn on the campus of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill , we had the privilege of visiting Raleigh and Durham, including a tour of the beautiful Duke University campus. We were honored to welcome incredible speakers like Campbell Harvey, Finance Professor at Duke, Neal Triplett, who leads DUMAC (Duke’s endowment management), and NC State’s own Greg Byrd, a quantum computing expert. The stunning Chapel Hill setting wowed everyone, and a few attendees even squeezed in a visit to the Duke-UNC women’s NCAA tournament game. It was a memorable event, full of insightful discussions and fantastic connections!?

Last week, our team journeyed to the Capital for pivotal meetings with SEC Commissioners, Acting Chair Uyeda, and notable members of the Senate Banking Committee and House Financial Services Committee. This visit offered TraderForum members a special chance to interact with lawmakers and regulators regarding issues affecting U.S. equity markets and trading.
