MILESTONE ACHIEVED ? The time has finally come: the first delivery of AXIMO DD60 pre-series motors to our lead customer Konrad Bikes has just left our production hall. It has been a scaring amount of work over the last months, so we are very proud of our quiet, powerful and reliable drive, which will now be installed in the first Konrad Cross bikes. Our deepest thanks go to everyone who has been part of this adventure so far: our world-class team at Hirschvogel E-Solutions GmbH in Piusheim and Kaufbeuren, the many helping hands and minds in the Hirschvogel Group, the friends at our development partner Ballendat Mobility GmbH, the colleagues at our system partner FIT Biketec GmbH and last but not least the team at Konrad Bikes! It’s been an exciting, fun journey – THANK YOU! We are deeply convinced that this is just the beginning of a long success story: we look forward to the next achievements and will keep you up to date! EUROBIKE 2024: NO, THERE ARE NO FIVE TAKEAWAYS. NOT EVEN THREE. IT’S JUST BEEN A GREAT TIME! ? We are back from EUROBIKE Show, the stuff has been cleared away, business cards and meeting notes are piled up on our tables, there are almost 1,000 new ideas in our heads and we are all still busy processing the many impressions of the last few days. We still all need a lot of sleep! It feels like there have been a million of “five-learnings”, takeways, words of wisdom since last Friday, and we don't want to add another five. We are focussing on the important things: NETWORK: Many thanks to our partners and friends at Biketec GmbH and Pinion GmbH for the opportunity to share resources and really exploit synergies - working with you gives us a lot of pleasure and allows us to concentrate on our motor system. COURAGE: From "yes, but" to "why not" - there is a great deal of interest in rear hub engines from OEMs, dealers and end customers alike. We are delighted that there is a renaissance of this drive system and are proud that we have developed a robust, absolutely quiet and worry-free drive with our AXIMO DD60. And that's just the beginning... QUALITY: We are so happy with our lead customer Konrad Bikes. With Reitz Group, we have some kind of similar DNA in the industrial/automotive sector background. Right from the start, they wanted a reliable, incredibly powerful drive system and we delivered. Konrad Bikes will be on the market from March 2025 and we are delighted to have created a best-practice model together! ? Quiet drive, happy life! Our close collaboration with FIT / Biketec GmbH results in a revolutionary product that sets a new standard in rear hub motor technology. We are also very happy to share our stand with Pinion GmbH, another leader in the industry. AXIMO, a brand of the Hirschvogel Group, is launching the DD60 hub motor. This maintenance-free direct-drive motor with integrated sensors offers 60 Nm of torque and noiseless power delivery for an unparalleled riding experience. FIT, the brand of the Swiss Biketec GmbH, provides perfectly tuned hardware and software, including versatile cockpit solutions and smartphone connectivity. Together, we offer a powerful drive system for trekking bikes, S-Pedelecs, and cargo bikes. WHO ARE WE? Are you wondering who stands behind our AXIMO DD60 motor? We currently have around 25 experts working in development, testing and industrialization: Our development and test centre is located in Piusheim, south-east of Munich on the edge of the Alps and offers the best conditions for quiet, focused work and excellent test tracks on the office doorstep. Production, purchasing and logistics are located in Kaufbeuren, in close proximity to our corporate headquarters. The whole thing is rounded off by the expertise of our electronics development partner Ballendat Mobility GmbH in Munich, and the drive system as a whole is made possible by FIT components and the excellent cooperation with the team of Biketec GmbH. EUROBIKE Show is just around the corner and many of us are focussed on presenting and experiencing our AXIMO DD60 system in the best possible way with our lead customer Konrad Bikes. At the same time, many tests are underway in the laboratory and in the field to ensure the best quality for the start of series production in autumn. We work in a distributed, agile and incredibly fast way - but we still try to create as many moments as possible where we can meet in person and test, evaluate and further develop our products together.
