People manage their time, but they continue to manage it poorly. Life is populated with a series of reactive responses to personal priorities and professional needs. Individuals do not control their calendar; the calendar controls them. Until there is a clear understanding that true productivity begins when the narrative is switched to a proactive mindset, 82% will continue to wallow in time managed obscurity. The Time-Optimized Life reframes the reactive nature of time management and replaces it with a proactive method of time optimization. Drawing from exclusive data captured by a tool called the Time Management Analysis (TMA), the book walks the reader through a comprehensive system that is easily adaptable to a particular personality or experience level. Using it as a complete time overhaul, The Time Optimized Life allows the reader the flexibility to create a time optimization plan that meets their essential needs. Operating with tools readily available to them today, the book will change perceptions of the individual and their approach to the use of their time, without having to invest in new gadgets or software. Time is a commodity and resource that does not stop. It can’t be reversed, and you can’t go back and get more. Investing time reading and applying the content in The Time-Optimized Life will help the reader make the future feel more infinite. https://infinitylifestyledesign.com/the-time-optimized-life-book/

Distractions can be like a time management tornado. ? We are bombarded with TV, radio, digital, and yes even print advertising. ? Notes to myself… ? The biggest priority might not be the most passionate priority. Get the first one fixed but be mindful of the second. ? React quickly, but not too quickly that you make a mistake. ? Be as ready to communicate bad news as quickly as good news. Solutions will come much quicker. ? Be patient. It is taking upwards of 11 "touches" (emails, phone calls, texts) before solid engagement is occurring. ? What are some of your notes to yourself? ? --------------------------------------- Follow?#timeoptimize Learn more in my book The Time-Optimized Life (Download Chapter 1 for FREE) ? #purpose #career #personaldevelopment

I am not a fan of the term work/life balance. ? There will be times when there needs to be more work. ? There will be time when there needs to be more personal time. ? Strong competition is good for your time management. ? My first job out of college was working for JCPenney. ? The district manager took another department manager and myself on a tour of the competition in the mall. ? As we looked at these other stores, the two of us (the department managers) were very critical of how things were being executed. It was easy to see what they were doing "wrong." ? At one point the district manager got so annoyed at us, he stopped, turned around, and yelled at both of us, "Worry about what they are doing right, not what they are doing wrong! We can go back to our store and I can help you find everything you are doing wrong!" ? That totally changed my outlook of competition. ? The competition is not the enemy, the competition is your teacher. Learn what they do right. It will save you so much time later on. ? What is your view of competition? ? --------------------------------------- ?I am David Buck ?
