The Tikvah Beren Summer Fellowship

the Tikvah Beren Summer Fellowship is an elite eight-week program in New York City for college students from across the United States, who are committed to the advancement of the Jewish people and Jewish ideas. The Fellowship begins with a three-week seminar on the modern Jewish condition, the foundations of American and Jewish thought, and the history of Zionism and the America-Israel relationship. Students are guided in this study by world-class teachers and experts from elite policy and educational institutions and learn to think strategically about contemporary problems facing the Jewish people. Fellows then pursue independent research projects and internships related to their career ambitions, ranging from politics, journalism and law to Jewish education, academia, and working to combat anti-Semitism. Each student is assigned a mentor to help craft a project with real-world impact. Students have worked with a range of influential research institutions, congressional offices, journalistic outlets, educational institutions, and more to not only jumpstart their professional careers but to ensure their projects have lasting impact.
