The Shook Foundation

Your donations help support amazing opportunities for the youth in our programs. One of our home-based youth is now able to participate in 3 months of martial arts thanks to our friends at The Shook Foundation. He did a couple free trial classes and LOVED it, he was excited to show his therapist what he learned. This will help him grow is self esteem. His caregiver is grateful, he hasn't been excited about much since the passing of his mother. This definitely will help him in so many ways!

We are thrilled to announce that GiGi’s Playhouse Cleveland has been awarded a $1,500 grant from The Shook Foundation! The Shook Foundation’s mission to “dramatically improve the communities we serve” aligns perfectly with our commitment to fostering inclusion, advocacy, and a vibrant community. This week one of our foster youth was able to start her online schooling curriculum. Grant funding from The Shook Foundation helped to fund her laptop. We are grateful that we could provide this and meet her needs for the best path for her to finish her education.

This year we are grateful to be a recipient of The Shook Foundation granting cycle. With the support we look forward to providing many opportunities across all programs. Their grant has helped us provide uniforms to 5 home-based youth and counting. This is a huge help for families in this program that often have limited income and resources. Thank you Shook Foundation!

In early 2022, Shook Construction launched our employee-led non-profit organization, The Shook Foundation, as an extension of our Mission.
