TEDx Speaker ?? Helping Organizations Build Purpose-Driven, Human-First Cultures ???? Author ?? Workplace Culture & Future of Work Architect ?????? As Seen in Forbes, NBC News & Entrepreneur

Should we stop calling them deadlines, if they aren't actually life or death? We create a lot of unnecessary urgency in the workplace that proper leadership development, planning, and resources management can alleviate. If ignored, it'll lead to burnout, costly turnover, and even long-term damage to your company's reputation. I sat down with Alyssa Nolte on the Taking Back Monday Podcast to chat about how employees can become more self-led, how to co-create company cultures built on trust and belonging, and why we need to take pressure off ourselves to make the "right" choice in our career. Link in the comments if you wanna listen in.

I met Dionne Mejer as part of the Taking Back Monday Podcast. She was a guest, and we talked at length about Sales with Soul. What immediately drew me in was that there was no "hustle bro" approach to sales. She had that genuine care and connection to bring value to her customers - not just hit the quota. When she invited me to speak at her upcoming event... it was an immediate yes because I knew she'd bring together people who have the right intentions, the right vision and ultimately, an approach that brings us closer to the future of work. At H2H: Human Connection Done Right, we’re cutting through the noise to talk about what actually works in AI, leadership, and the future of work with Dionne Mejer and 20+ experts who’ve been in the trenches. I hope you'll join us! ?? Thursday, March 13, 2025 ?? Virtual Summit ?? Join the movement: https://h2h.icnsummit.com/ #H2H #Leadership #AI #Sales #LeadWithSoul

Just what LinkedIn needs, another “What [Random Thing] Taught Me About B2B Sales” post. But here we are. This time, it’s the TikTok ban because, apparently, I couldn’t resist. The reality is, it’s not about TikTok at all. It’s about what TikTok’s story reveals about customers, loyalty, and why businesses need to stop obsessing over features and start listening. I promise it’s worth a read (even if you’re rolling your eyes at the title). #B2BSales #CustomerCentric #LeadershipLessons #ValueCreation #SalesStrategy #Innovation Let me know what you think, whether it’s feedback, a roast, or a perspective of your own. I’d love to hear it!

?? "People are the heart of our organization, yet we spend all our time on process. Let’s shift that." – Lynnea Brumbaugh, Ph.D. This quote from my conversation with Lynnea on the Taking Back Monday podcast has been on my mind. It’s not that we’ve intentionally ignored our people. Billions of dollars are spent each year on professional development and learning initiatives. Change management and digital transformation have been at the forefront of every strategic conversation for over a decade. But we’re moving into a new reality, and the old rules don’t apply anymore. At TruVue, we’re seeing this play out as we build something new. The way we approach customer intelligence has to change. It’s no longer enough to react to your customer’s behavior. Success now depends on predicting your customer’s next move and using that knowledge to stay ahead. But here’s the thing we’re learning: It’s not just about evolving processes or bringing in new technology. The real challenge is empowering people to focus on the things AI can’t do—like building relationships, innovating, and solving complex problems. AI and automation aren’t replacing people. They’re tools to help us work smarter, not harder. The key is creating a space where people can do what only people can do. This is the future we’re working toward at TruVue. What about you? How are you evolving to meet this new reality? Revisit Lynnea's episode here: https://lnkd.in/gpTrkT5u

This week on the Taking Back Monday Podcast, I’m thrilled to welcome Rob Connelly to the show! Rob challenges us to rethink how we view trauma—not as the events that happen to us, but as the adaptations we make to survive them. In the workplace, these adaptations can lead to cycles of professional trauma that impact our ability to lead, collaborate, and grow. One moment that stuck with me: "Trauma isn’t what happens to you—it’s how you adapt to survive it. Understanding these responses can help leaders create environments where people thrive rather than just survive." – Rob Connelly Rob shares powerful insights into: → How to recognize professional trauma in yourself and your team → The keys to breaking free from fight, flight, freeze, or fawn responses → How leaders can build supportive, sustainable work cultures This episode is a must-listen for leaders navigating workplace challenges or anyone seeking tools to overcome stress and reconnect with meaningful work. Don’t miss what’s coming next: → Jan 20: Sarah Ratekin, DBA, MBA – "Happiness is courage. Optimism can lead to more sustainable, positive outcomes at work." → Jan 27: Jean-Pierre Dumas – "CX begins with EX. Create the right environment for your people, and they’ll thrive." It's time to say goodbye to the Sunday Scaries. Listen here: takingbackmondaypod.com Have you ever recognized a professional trauma response in yourself or your team? Unconventional traits of successful people: - Most are not balanced. They’re relentless, tough, focused, less fun. Maybe doesn’t have to be this way, but it usually is. - They move fast, they take risk, they work a lot. - Behind every successful person is a story that gave them no choice. - Their mindset is: entitled to nothing, willing to earn everything. - They’re competitive. More competitive you are, more likely you are to succeed. - They do NOT have all the answers. Many are anxious and uncertain. - Most successful people have left their hometown at some point. - They’ve failed more times than you can imagine. You only have to be right once. What would you add? Also - feel free to follow me Codie A. Sanchez to get more like this on your feed.
