2019: Director, FP&A at Waymo 2024: VP, Finance at Ford 2025: CFO at Ford, a $36.71 billion automotive giant Sherry House is the first female CFO at Ford. - CPA + MBA in Finance. - Master of Engineering. - Started as a product engineer at GM. - Moved to corporate finance at Deloitte. At Waymo, she helped shape the financial strategy for self-driving tech. At Lucid Motors, she took the company public and led its early financial operations. Now, as Ford’s CFO, she is leading the company through its EV and AI-driven transformation. Ford is betting big on her strategic style. A $4.5M signing bonus makes that clear. After all his hard work organizing the 2025 Global Operations Conference last week, it felt like the right time to highlight Tauber 2 MBA student Matthew Alrutz, as well as his Tauber 2 EGL project partner Nam Le for their work over the summer at Attindas Hygiene Partners. Nam and Matt worked on a transformative project with Attindas, leveraging apps to optimize the bagger changeover processes. This initiative diminished downtime and heightened work accuracy, showcasing their capacity for impactful results. Their experience reveals how real-world projects can bridge diverse educational backgrounds and foster strong industry connections. Watch their story below:

Thank you so much for joining us and sharing your insights, Sarah!
Mobilizing sustainable business solutions to optimize performance, value creation, and competitive advantage
I was excited to share insights from Impact Collective Group at this year’s Global Operations Conference at the Tauber Institute for Global Operations at the University of Michigan! The theme, "Tech-Driven Transformation: Revolutionizing Operations of the Future," sparked many inspiring conversations about the critical role of sustainability. It was fantastic to collaborate with Chris Pruitt from East Penn Manufacturing Co. and Michael Rivet from DTE Energy on delivering a panel discussion on "Sustainable Operations" and to engage with many other innovative leaders including Jacqueline Cook from Amazon, Allison Bellows from Pfizer, Bob Kupbens from StubHub International and more, all demonstrating the power of operations and the importance of considering sustainability for resilience and ongoing industry leadership. From cutting-edge automation to groundbreaking research and renewable energy initiatives, the initiatives they are driving forward are shaping the future of business and communities everywhere. One key takeaway? Sustainability is not just about doing good—it's about doing better. It's about driving innovation, improving efficiency, and creating long-term value. Thank you Matthew Alrutz, Danny Colón, Alexandra Maxwell, Anindita Anne Partington and all who contributed for your leadership in gathering incredible thought leaders and shaping these meaningful conversations! #sustainability #operations #leadership #innovation #impact #goblue

Tauber students put their analytical skills to the test at the Michigan Ross Business+Tech Datathon, earning 3rd place among 58 teams. Congratulations to the team on developing a data-driven strategy to help startups and small businesses optimize PERM approvals and secure international talent.
Excited to share that our team won 3rd place at the Michigan Ross Business+Tech Datathon! Competing against 58 teams, we developed a data-driven strategy to help startups and small and medium-sized employers optimize PERM approvals, enabling them to secure international talent while managing costs effectively. Using 2015-2024 datasets from the Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) under the U.S. Department of Labor, we applied logistic regression, K-Means clustering, and rigorous validation to uncover actionable insights. Huge thanks to Jake McMahon and Max Block for their valuable feedback, and to our incredible team, Rossgression Analytics Group—Charlie Rosenthal, Michael Vu, Sergio Ramos Salinas, Shivangi Srivastava, Jinny Kim—for the collaboration, analysis, and insights that made this happen.
