Are you curious how AI-generated series are made today? Here's a little peek behind the scenes of our PREVIOUSLY ON format, comparing the original screenplay and recordings by our Creative Director Albert Bozesan with the final result on screen. After writing the story, Albert read the lines of all characters in a single (pretty goofy) recording session. They were then transformed into wildly different voices of all ages and genders with AI. With those recorded, we then created an initial rough cut with music and sound effects - yes, all our episodes begin as a kind of fiction podcast! That way, we can nail down the timing of the story before prompting a single image. That comes later, on a solid storytelling foundation. "DES & BETH" is our newest short film and official entry in the Project Odyssey competition by Civitai—an initiative supported by all major AI tool providers to foster real creativity in this budding AI film industry. ? Our goal here was to move away from the typical sci-fi imagery that's easily done with AI now, and attempt an intimate conversation between two consistent, emotionally engaging characters.
