Completed for opening in the summer of 2020, White Lodging's 613-room Austin Marriott Downtown not only includes 64,000 sq-ft. of meeting, exhibit, and entertainment space, three bars, and a street-level full-service restaurant?– it also features StoPanel Next ci and Dri-Design, a Kingspan Company surfaces. The partnership between Sto Panel Technology and Dri-Design provides owners and design professionals a unique #architectural wall system with a wide range of aesthetic metal panel shapes and color options, along with the benefits provided when using a #cladding that offers a rainscreen design. #FlashbackFriday to City Hyde Park in #Chicago, in April 2021 - representing an achievement in practical ingenuity and aesthetic design. The project turned a two-story #retail base of a new residential midrise tower into a colorful and intricate tile mosaic depicting the four seasons of the year. The intricate 20,660 sq.ft. installation required three different types of wall panels - StoPanel Backup with mosaic tile, StoPanel Classic ci and StoPanel Metal ci. To create the mosaic design, StoPanel affiliate Grayhawk LLC used StoPanel Backup with the mosaic tile installed over cement board sheathing. They produced 44 custom tile mats, each with a unique color composition created from 2-inch tiles designed by world-renowned #architecture firm Studio Gang. Thank you as well to project engineer Matsen Ford Design and General Contractor Linn-Mathes, Inc. for working with StoPanel. We're excited to see StoPanel GPS ci featured in Healthcare Design's 11 new #building products for healthcare #design projects! The Sto Canada team is proud to announce that our B-Line Condos project in #Toronto, Ontario, completed by romanov romanov ARCHITECTS and Skyrise Prefab Building Solutions Inc. for Royalpark Homes, received a Finalist Award at the EIFS Council Of Canada’s 2024 Architectural Design Awards! Our carefully crafted #exterior finishes, including StoCast Wood, StoCast Brick, and stucco, contribute to the #architectural diversity and opulence of the development. The use of Sto Panel Technology provided a continuous insulation solution while also reducing waste and minimizing disruptions on-site. This project is only proof that #sustainable development and architectural innovation can indeed coexist harmoniously.

Sto Panel Technology affiliates MKB Construction, Inc. and MKB Prefab combined StoPanel Classic NExT ci and StoPanel Dri-Design, a Kingspan Company to deliver a striking #design on the Hilton Canopy Hotel in Tempe, AZ. By combining StoPanel Classic NExT ci with StoPanel Dri-Design panels during the #prefabrication process, MKB was able to meet the specific design aesthetic of the job. Assisted by Sundt Construction, Allen+Philp Partners, and Lochsa Engineering, they used a tower crane and controlled tag lines attached to the panels to safely and carefully position the panels in place. They also maintained a safe jobsite by coordinating with the city of Tempe to manage traffic and close streets when necessary, while also reworking the original traditional #construction-based schedule to trim at least 3 months from the overall schedule. #FlashbackFriday to April, 2021, when a combination of StoPanel Impact ci and StoPanel Classic NExT ci panels were the solution chosen to meet #Florida’s stringent wind load and impact rated requirements at the UCF Lake Nona Medical Center in #Orlando. A small team of 8 panel installation experts replaced the estimated 30-40 workers that would have been required for traditional field installation. The small on-site crew was able to install 136 panels in only 11 days, avoiding underground utilities and exceeding schedule expectations on this challenging project. Thank you to Wal-Mark Contracting Group, general #contractor Layton Construction, #architect ESa, wall panel engineer FDS and owners HCA Healthcare’s North Florida Division and University of Central Florida Academic Health for choosing StoPanel.
