    Who really decides which educational products make it into classrooms?? ? In a new blog from the LEARN Network, SRI Education’s Keena W. uncovers that while teachers and school leaders are deeply involved in selecting educational tools, the voices of students, parents, and community members are often left out. This gap in the procurement process means valuable insights from those most impacted by these tools are missing from key decisions.?? ?     We are pleased to share that SRI Education researcher Sheresa Blanchard has contributed to the newly expanded second edition of “How Qualitative Data Analysis Happens: Moving Beyond ‘Themes Emerged’”, published by Routledge.? ? Sheresa alongside her co-authors, present “Phenomenological Analysis and Racial Socialization Interpretation of Interviews with African American Parents of Toddler Sons”. Their chapter in this book provides critical insights into the qualitative research process, offering a deeper understanding of how researchers navigate and interpret complex data to draw meaningful conclusions.? ? DaSy has just updated its State of the States Maps with the latest 2023 data on the national status of Part C and 619 data systems! https://lnkd.in/gGFxDEU5 The maps now reflect updated insights across 11 key features of high-quality IDEA state data systems, including child-level data systems, workforce data integration, and connections between early childhood and K-12 data. ??? ??
