It was an incredible opportunity to expand our knowledge of the renewable geothermal energy industry, do skill-building activities, hear insights from industry experts, and have the opportunity to network. Last Friday's Fall Career Prep Event was an incredible success with almost a quarter of the enrollment in Petroleum Engineering at OU having their resumes reviewed. Students - you showed up and made this event stand out for the SPE-OKC section, well done! Yes, we did. :-) SPE-OKC has hired a professional headshot photographer to be on OU's campus at Sarkey's to provide FREE headshot photos to students needing a nice addition to their profiles. This is going to be a busy day of Resume Reviews and LinkedIn help, so when you are free, come by and grab a photo wearing business professional. When I was in college, I never even thought about how my social media profile picture looked and always wondered if that made an impact on my opportunities right out of school.
