The Colored Girls Museum Tour Join us for an inspiring and reflective experience at The Colored Girls Museum, a one-of-a-kind institution dedicated to celebrating the stories, history, and resilience of ordinary Black women and girls. Located in a historic Germantown home, this museum transforms each room into an artistic tribute to the lived experiences of Black women, showcasing their beauty, challenges, and triumphs. During our guided tour, we’ll explore thought-provoking exhibits and curated works that elevate the voices and perspectives of Black women, sparking meaningful conversations and fostering a deeper connection to our shared heritage.

On the 2nd day of Kwanzaa(Kujichagulia: Self-Determination), I reflect on how this celebration has shaped me personally and professionally. Passed down from my Aunt Betty and Uncle Charles to my mother, and now to my children, Kwanzaa is a time for us to honor our community, celebrate our shared purpose, and embrace our identity with pride. For organizations, recognizing Kwanzaa is an opportunity to foster inclusion and demonstrate allyship. Here’s how you can create supportive workplaces during Kwanzaa and beyond: ?
