Managing Partner Resa Dimino spoke about the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association project we are supporting to set up a tire stewardship organization (TSO) in Connecticut at the Tire Recycling Conference in Atlanta last week. The TSO will establish and manage a state-wide collection system with free drop-off locations to recycle tires. The program will be funded solely through producers of new tires sold to consumers which helps ensure the success of this special waste, extended producer responsibility program.
