The Seton Hall Law School Center for Health & Pharmaceutical Law faculty produce significant scholarship, white papers, and policy recommendations on varied and complex health law issues. In addition to regulatory topics, other areas of significant faculty expertise include health care access and payment, bioethics and human subject research, health care fraud and abuse, food and drug law, heath data privacy, public health surveillance, developmental disability and mental health issues, the opioid epidemic, national drug policy, and non-profit governance. The faculty also does significant grant work aimed at enhancing access to health care and reforming drug policy. The Center is also committed to educating health care lawyers and compliance professionals on the laws and regulatory framework that govern patients, health care providers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and device manufacturers. The Center supports numerous academic degree and certificate programs at the Law School for both full-time students and global healthcare professionals. One such program is the foundational Healthcare Compliance Certificate Program, an intensive workshop offered in the US, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East, which is taught by Center faculty and industry experts. Since 1993, Seton Hall Law School has fostered informed and thoughtful dialogue on a wide spectrum of health law issues, and that academic commitment grows even stronger as industry challenges emerge and evolve.
