Flashback to May 8, when our CHDCM Office of Fieldwork and Certification hosted the 5th annual Awards and Appreciation Dinner, where our graduating teacher candidates celebrated a successful completion of their year-long field placement alongside their cooperating teachers, clinical supervisors, and faculty who mentored them along the way. Maleike Hector '18 delivered the keynote address, sharing how his experience in the program influenced the teacher he is today. The following students from the class of 2024 were honored as finalists for Seton Hall's nominations to the New Jersey Distinguished Clinical Intern Awards (NJDCIA): Chelsea Alves, Brooke Appel, Nathalie Cuevas, Colleen Dennis, Sarah Manto, Elizabeth McCollum, Madison Miranda, and Lincoln Parker. From these finalists, Elizabeth McCollum, Madison Miranda, and Lincoln Parker received special recognition as Seton Hall's selected nominees for the award. The OFC congratulates the finalists, nominees, and all new graduates as they take the next step in their journey to educate future generations!
