??We are happy to introduce one of you our Editorial Board Members. Dawna Lewis, PhD, is a Research Scientist at Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.?Dr. Lewis is involved in research addressing issues related to amplification and speech understanding in children, including the impact of hearing loss on children’s speech understanding in complex environments. Currently, Dr. Lewis is involved in NIH-supported grants addressing 1) listening skills in children who are hard of hearing, 2) clinical tools for managing children with mild hearing loss, and 3) emotion perception and production in children who use cochlear implants.
