Today marks a true milestone and step forward – not only for Aurubis, but also for the entire recycling industry in the US: With the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new multimetal recycling plant at Aurubis Richmond in Augusta (Georgia), we are proud to establish the first of its kind facility in the country, which reflects Aurubis’ commitment to sustainable practices, innovation, and contributing to the circular economy. I’m especially grateful for the support of Georgia officials and leaders like Governor Brian Kemp and Mayor Garnett Johnson for joining us for the ribbon cutting ceremony today at Richmond. Their presence underlines the importance of strong partnerships between industry and government as we work together to ensure growth and economic stability for families and businesses. A special thanks goes also out to Jasjit Singh and his team from SelectUSA. SelectUSA Executive Director Jasjit Singh continued his trip in India by visiting its capital, New Delhi, and engaging with key stakeholders, holding productive meetings with major business associations and Indian companies interested in investing in America, and emphasizing how, for over a decade, the U.S. has been the top destination for foreign direct investors! ED Singh also attended the India Ideas Summit, where he listened to speakers, like U.S. Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti, discuss the strong bilateral relationship between the United States and India. This visit was a success thanks to the excellent U.S. Commercial Service India and staff at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi that work tirelessly to improve trade and investment between the two countries! ???????? #USIndiaFWD

This visit was supported by the U.S. Commercial Service India?team in Bengaluru. During his trip, ED Singh met with U.S. Embassy Singapore Deputy Chief of Mission Casey Mace, officials from the Ministry of Trade and Industry Singapore, Enterprise Singapore, leaders from leading Singaporean businesses, key Singaporean trade associations, and representatives from the SelectFlorida U.S. state economic development organization! These efforts were supported by the excellent U.S. Embassy staff in Singapore that work to assist Singaporean businesses and entrepreneurs in their efforts to invest in the U.S. market! ????????
