Your SAEC Steering Committee is pleased to present our Mission and 2025 Goals: o???Mission: ?The ASIS International Security Architecture & Engineering Community promotes standards, guidelines, and certification through education, training, and leadership in all aspects of the Security Architecture & Engineering industry. This is accomplished through the establishment of best practices and educational opportunities in security assessment, planning, security design, risk and threat vulnerability analysis, as well as project management, integration, implementation and operation of the security project. o???Goals for 2025: §?Participation in Security Architecture & Engineering activities by all members of our Community. §?Push on education front with live events and e-learning §?Plan for FSD is as 2-day program prior to GSX like last year, plan to meet in March/April to begin preparation, plan to convert the model to Revit for more up-to-date experience. §?Community posts – _make sure they are getting addressed §?Looking at how to be less US-centric and applicable to other regions §?Look into what are we missing and can address. §?Introduce membership outreach program, increasing membership through Community member referrals. §?Participation in the development, assistance, and presentation at our Community’s Educational Courses, Intensives and Seminars. We look forward to working with the SAEC Community and especially all steering committee as we seem to meet our 2025 goals in the spirit of our overall mission, both as stated above. (Respectfully submitted by Mike McGovern as LinkedIn Liaison.)
