Whilst there are negatives to the increase in costs, there is one key positive that employers should take away from the news: An apprentice under 25, who is paid less than ￡967 per week, is eligible for 0% employer National Insurance contributions.? ? This means that businesses can continue to hire to meet their needs, whilst positively impacting the life of a young person who wants to succeed and grow within a company.? ? ??
