We hosted an Access to Capital Workshop in collaboration with the Galveston County Small Business Development Center at the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce. Deputy District Director Winston Labbé presented information on SBA lending programs, Lead Economic Development Specialist Valerie Maher presented information on counseling, contracting, and disaster assistance, and Galveston County SBDC Director Amy Reid spoke to how SBDC helps small businesses to start and grow. The attendees included several existing woman-owned small businesses who were looking for funds to expand. Industries represented included construction, fashion, healthcare, real estate, and professional services.??? #SBAHDO
